2008现代人造板加工生产及应用技术研讨会即将举行

继2008北京木工展这一场行业盛会之后，“2008现代人造板加工生产及应用技术研讨会”将于2008年3月11日在上海迎园大酒店盛大开幕。此次研讨会由嘉汉板业（亚洲）有限公司主办，并邀请南京林业大学木材工业学院，广西大学林学院，黑龙江省森林工业总局及内蒙古森林工业集团共同合办。

本次研讨会的主办单位，嘉汉板业（亚洲）有限公司（以下简称“嘉汉板业”）隶属于我国较大规模的外资商业林场营运商之一的加拿大嘉汉林业国际有限公司。目前，嘉汉板业在国内拥有多家全资子公司，主要生产及销售各类人造板65wan《仙落凡尘》六界争斗霸主定乾坤，包括OSB、刨花板、胶合板、细木工板、指接板、地板基材以及地板等产品。

为打造本次高端研讨会，嘉汉集团董事长兼首席执行官陈德源先生特邀南京林业大学木材工业学院吴智慧院长、广西大学林学院罗建举院长、黑龙江森林工业总局吴爱国副总局长以及内蒙古森林工业集团鹿占山副总经理等组建组委会。 据有关资料显示，2007年我国人造板产量高达88370万立方米，其中胶合板产量达到41,051万立方米，纤维板 25,075万立方米，刨花板 7,395万立方米。目前我国虽然已成为人造板生产大国，但是我国人造板生产及应用技术尚未成熟。据主办单位相关负责人介绍，紧随“北京木工展”举办此次研讨会，首要目的在于支持和推动我国人造板业的健康快速发展，探讨并实现国家林产工业可持续发展的环保目标为主。

据悉，在此次研讨会上，南京林业大学木材工业学院，广西大学林学院的相关学者专家将以“提升我国林木产品加工技术水平，更有效利用林业资源实现林产工业的可持续发展”为重要议题，并发表专题演讲。此外，组委会特别邀请“德国豪迈集团、德国威力集团 、芬兰劳特集团 、德国Hueck GmbH”等欧洲著名木材加工设备制造商的专家学者出席并发表演讲。他们将向中国木材工业厂商介绍欧洲先进的人造板生产技术和市场趋势。同时，他们还将发表关于如何实现降低成本，增加木材产值，以及减少原材料耗损等多项重大议题的专题演讲。

出席本次研讨会的嘉宾分别为全国各地林业企事业领导以及人造板制造技术专家。另外，全国人造板标准化技术委员会，中国木材流通协会，中国林业产业协会等多个林木业协会相关领导也将应邀出席。同时，《国际木业》杂志以及鱼珠木材等多家行业媒体均有本次盛会的相关报道。

2008 Symposium for Modern Production Processing and Application Technique of Wood-based Panel" will be held on March 11th, 2008 in Shanghai at Ying Yuan Hotel with grand opening, immediately following the 12th International Exhibition of Woodworking Machinery and Furniture Manufacturing Equipment (“WMF”).

This symposium is organized by Sino-Panel (Asia) Inc. and invites Wood Industry College of Nanjing University of Forestry, Forestry College of Guangxi University, Forestry Industry Bureau of Heilongjiang Province and Inner Mongolia Forestry Industrial Co., Ltd. of China as joint-organizers.

As this symposium’s organizer, Sino-panel (Asia) Inc. ("Sino-Panel") is the manufacturing arm of Sino-Forest Corporation, a Canada company and leading commercial forest plantation operator in China. Sino-Panel, operates through many of its wholly owned subsidiary companies in China, produces and sells a variety of quality panels and wood-based products, including OSB, particle boards, block boards, finger-joint boards as well as flooring products.

In order to instill further dialogue exchange between academics, forestry bureaus and industry partners, Mr. Allen Chan, chairman CEO of Sino-Forest Corporation specially invited Prof. Wu Zhi-hui, Dean of Wood Industry College of Nanjing University of Forestry, Prof. Luo Jian-ju , Dean of Forestry College of Guangxi University and Mr. Wu Ai-guo, Assistant Director of Forestry Industrial Bureau of Heilongjiang Province and Mr. Luzhanshan, Inner Mongolia Forestry Industrial Co., Ltd. of China as members of organizing committee and guest speakers.

Despite China’s leading position in wood-panel production and export growth, manufacturing production and technology application of wood-based panels remain immature. Therefore the organizer purposely host the symposium immediately following Beijing’s WMF to echo and support the development of a healthy and robust wood-based panel industry in China, while in line with our national’s goal of sustainable development and environmental protection of our forest product industry.

At the symposium, scholars from Nanjing University of Forestry and Forestry College of Guangxi University will share with us “how to improve technical skill sets and knowhow of our nation’s value-added processing production, and effective use of forestry resources while maintain sustainability of forest manufacturing industry”.

In addition, the organization committee specially invites three reputable European woodworking equipment manufacturers --- Homag AG, Weinig GmbH, Hueck GmbH of Germany and Raute Corp of Finland to be our guest speakers. They will introduce and showcase advanced European wood-based panel production technology and the market tendency of Chinese wood industry. Furthermore, they will present special lectures on many significant subjects such as how to reduce the cost, increase lumber output value, as well as the reduction on raw material consumption.

Other attending guests and participants include officials from forestry bureaus as well as experts of wood-based panel manufacturers, members of National Committee of Wood-based Panels Standardization and Technology, Wood Circulation Association of China and Forestry Production Association of China will be invited to attend this symposium. Media partners include International Wood Industry Magazine and Yu Zhu Wood Link who will be covering the event。
